What is AGDAM?
AGDAM Australia specializes in managing pest and feral vertebrate animals, with 15+ years hunting/trapping and firearm experience, insured, licensed professional hunter and a member of the SSAA (Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia) and NSC (National Shooting Council) and Field and Game Mornington.
I service the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas.
Why use AGDAM?
Livestock, animals/pets and your property are an investment and you want to protect it/them any way you can, and landowners have a responsibility to keep pests in control in rural areas.
Maintaining livestock and property isnt cheap and you always use the best you can. Same with getting rid of pests, “you get what you pay for” is even more important when engaging a vertebrate pest controller using firearms on your property. Using unskilled and "free" shooters can be extremely costly and sometimes deadly. AGDAM is fully insured for public liability.
AGDAM also has public place permits which allow me to work within the great Melbourne Area, and the Mornington Peninsula has many rural areas within those boundaries.
Your livestock can suffer from broken legs from holes/burrows, costly deaths and injuries from predator attacks. Your property can also sustain damage from dam wall destabilising, crop and feed destruction, ring barking vines, nesting and general property damage can be very costly. Not all land holders have the time to hunt/trap or perhaps don’t have a firearm license or traps. Poisons and baiting is expensive as well as dangerous to non targeted animals. Trapping can cause serious harm to animals which still need to be disposed of and can take considerable time.
Using AGDAM is a direct and targeted approach, only what you want to target is targeted. This is the most humane, quick and safe way.
Our experience
With 15+ years of experience and using the latest equipment, including thermal and night vision technology, AGDAM Australia can help with pest animals such as: foxes, rabbits, hares, deer, goats, pigs, birds and rats.
Our methods
My highest priority is safety, if I can’t target the problem safely, I wont. I also ensure a full brief has been understood and agreed on and the property has been surveyed during the day to understand the layout, sightings and issues. All clients will know when I am on-site or have requested me to be on-site. All pests/animals can be either photographed/documented and reported to you and can be deposited at your discretion. You deal with me directly, you won't have others you didn't agree upon or know about show up to your property (keep in mind: ask for credentials and insurance of every pest controller).
Our cost
I charge either per animal or per time (hour, week, month) depending on requirements, and method of control. Discuss with me which methods are required in regards to your issue.
